Let's take your fondant decorating skills to the next level! To make any color under the rainbow, start with the primary colors (they come standard in both the Fun with Fondant! and the Original Mini Cake Kit).
Mix together:
Purple: a lot of red with a bit of blue
Green: a lot of yellow with a bit of blue
Orange: a lot of yellow with a bit of red
Brown: a little bit of all the colors!
Tips:
- Keep fondant covered when not using, otherwise it'll dry out.
- If fondant gets sticky (it happens when it's hot, especially during the summer), dust it with a little confectioners' sugar or cornstarch.
- It's okay to let fondant dry once you've shaped it and made your decorations. (Especially if you're making something large!)
