Our spooooooky Halloween mini cake kits are super easy to make! Each kit comes with your choice of whole grain or classic (in vanilla or chocolate) cake mix, organic frosting mix, natural food dyes, white and black fondant, and 2 fondant cutters.

Use the round fondant cutter to cut three circles of fondant.

Jack o Lantern Pumpkin mini cake for Halloween cake decoratingUse the triangle cutter to cut 5 triangles.  Use 3 triangles for the eyes and nose. Then, cut the remaining triangles into smaller triangles for mouth. Roll a small cylinder of fondant for the pumpkin stalk.

Stick pieces  to the side of the cake, using a little water for glue, if necessary.

Frankenstein mini cake tutorial for Halloween cake decoratingHair & Mouth: Use the triangle cutter to cut 9 triangles. Use 4 for the hair. Trim remaining triangles into shorter triangles for the mouth. 

Nose: Roll a small ball of fondant. 

Ears: Use the round cutter to cut out 2 circles. Gently press one side of each round flat.

Eyes: Use round cutter to cut 2 circles. For pupils, roll 2 small balls black fondant and gently press between fingers to flatten. Stick to white fondant, using a little dab of water as glue.

Stitches: Roll a small piece of black fondant and cut out 2 long and thin rectangles. Cut one in half. Use water to glue the two smaller rectangles on top of the longer one.

Stick pieces to side of cake, using little dabs of water as glue, if necessary. 

 

Monster Mini Cake for Halloween cake decorating

Fondant eyeballs for monster mini cake and Halloween cake decoratingMix together 3 parts white to 1 part black to make grey fondant. Use the round cutter to cut circles.

For pupils, roll 2 small balls black fondant and gently press between fingers to flatten. If desired, add tiny dots of white fondant to sides of eyes.

Stick pieces to side of cake, using little dabs of water as glue, if necessary.
