This easy chocolate cake mix is made with organic flour and organic sugar, for the best chocolate cake ever! Just add milk (or milk alternative), eggs, and oil. Our mix is one-bowl, meaning no mixer required.
Whole wheat pastry flour makes our cakes more flavorful, while remaining soft and moist (bonus points for whole grains). Unrefined cane sugar gives the cake a depth of flavor we're sure you'll love.
Keep it on hand for when you want a homemade cake that's also an easy cake.
Ingredients: organic unrefined cane sugar, organic whole wheat pastry flour, organic dutch process cocoa powder, baking powder, organic vanilla powder, salt.
All you need to add: 3 large eggs, 3/4 cup canola or other neutral oil, 1/2 cup milk or milk alternative
1. Heat oven to 325°F. Grease baking pans with cooking spray.
2. Whisk cake mix, eggs, milk, and oil until well combined. Divide batter evenly between pans.
3. Bake according to chart or until cake springs back in center. Let cool completely before frosting.
Tip: A tall cake is more impressive, so we recommend three 6" layers. For 9" layers, we recommend using two packages of cake mix.
